Voted Top Beauty Spot in Devon, Becky Falls first opened the public in 1903. Based in Dartmoor valley, Becky Falls has been described as "a magical, mystical, spiritual place of whispered fables and pixie tales of old to inspire the senses and imagination". Visitors come to climb, splash, relax, picnic or just to wander.
There are walks and scenery, wildlife and woodland, rivers and boulders. Becky Falls was popular with the Victorians and was known to be visited by Iron and Bronze Age settlers who came for water, fire wood and shelter. It is also a popular source of inspiration for artists, poets and writers poets, including Rupert Brooke and Virginia Woolf.
During the summer holidays children's entertainment is provided including animal shows, feeding sessions and competitions.
There is a cafeteria a gift shop.
