A Great Day out.
At the Visitor Centre you can learn about the 40 years of history of Darlington Crystal at the audio visual theatre. Watch the expert Master Engraving Demonstration and buy apersonalised peice. There is also a demonstration of studio glassmaking. Follow the FDactory Experience and watch the craftsmen at work transforming hot molten crystal into elegant shapes - an art that is 3000 years old!

There is plenty to keep the children interested and occupied. Creative activities are available 7 days a week. Your hand can be cast in glass, or have a go at glass blowing. Paint your own glass or design and create jewllery.

There are bargins to be had in the factory shops and hundreds of gift ideas as well as local delicacies, winess and beers.

When you are hungry visit the restaurant and relax have a picnic in the picnic area and enjoy views of the countryside.

In the food hall treat yourself to Taste of the West - a great selection of locally sourced produce.
