Lundy Island is the site f 137 shipwrecks and its dramatic past is all around.
Children love thje farm, the sheep are friendly, domestic animals wander freely and visitors can wander amongst the chickens ducks, lambs and ponies - but remember to shut the gate! Overnight accomodation is available, there is a shop with souvenirs and provisions for you r picnic.
A trip to Lundy Island is also a cruise to enjoy the Nrth Devon coast. Lundys own ship the Ms Oldenburg carries 267 passengers. It has a bar, buffet, shop and information centre.
The journey takes uner 2 hours from Ilfracombe or Bideford which have convenient car parking.
Pets are not allowed on Lundy.
No special Disabled facilites are available but advise of special needs before sailing and assitance will make your trip as comfortasble as possible.
