Seaton tramway has always been well known for its open top trams, they also have 3 enclosed single deck trams. so you can visit throughout the year- there is a tram for all seasons.
Operating are narrow gauge heritage trams between Seaton, Colyford and Colyton. Amoungst the large selection of Trams to view and ride on are a 1952 Darwen-style double decker, a 1950 Blackpool-style open boat, a 1952 Freestyle open topper, a Blackpool-style Balloon enclosed double decker, a Llandudno & Colwyn Bay-style single deck toast rack, , a Metropolitan Tramways-style open topper a Manx Electric Railways-style, an Ex Bournemouth Tramways car and many others.
The tramway travels through two nature reserves on the East Devon's beautiful Axe valley, alongside the River Axe estuary, with the Jurassic coast within easy reach of the town of Seaton, this is a UNESCO world Heritage site.
Historic Colyton is described as "Devon's Most Rebellious Town" because of the part in played in the Monmouth Rebellion in 1685.
