An oasis in the corner of Hele Village, half a mile east of Ilfracombe, where you will find a 16 th Century working watermill and museum, a working overshot waterwheel, and a 1920's National engine, rescued dereliction in 1973. The engine is run every Sunday at 12 noon when open.
Organiuc stone Ground flour and Rolled oats are available and you can even grind your own flour on the refurbished 100 year old Blackstone mill.
There are many interestind displays and you can purchase turned wooden bowls and platters, local pottery and handicrafts. Children can paint their own pottery and these are puizzles to try and to buy.
Cream Teas and light refreshments are available in the Tea Room or Orchard Garden.
