The yellow boats of Poole are well known and have taken people for days out for a 100 years. Lord Baden - Powell who founded the Scout movement crossed from Sandbanks in 1907. This is the least expensive crossing.
Coaches and minibuses may park at Sandbanks by arrangement. You can cruise up the River Froom to Wareham , take a yellow boat to Swanage and the Jurassic Coast, or admire Poole Quay from the water. A cruise can be taken round the harbour Islands to see the beaches of Shell Bay and Sandbanks. It is possible to charter private facilities on the Yellow boats for day or evening functions, corporate hospitality or conferences, office/club parties, weddings, or to view firework displays.
