This page is about Farmer Palmers in Poole, Dorset
Voted 2006 'National Farm Attraction of the Year Award' this attraction was started in 1998 with family visitors in mind. THere is plenty to see and do, both on a fun and educational level such as straw mountains, a 2 level under-cover soft play area with slides and tunnels. There are pedal tractors, two bouncy castles and the ever popular ball pits. Also a sand pit, maze (made from maize!) should not fail to entertain the Childen. During the Summer months, you may wish to take the Woodland walk, or for the braver perhaps the tractor trailer ride around the farm!
The animal barn offers the opportunity for children to handle pigs and groom ponies. There is also lamb and goat feeding and don't miss the cow milking! At the outdoor enclosures you can get close to some of the larger animals. All aminals are kept to DEFRA 'Five Freedoms of Animal Welfare' standards, with well trained staff looking after animals and guests.
If you fancy a meal, snack or just a drink, try the 'Hen House' restaurant which serves traditional farmhouse food. Within the restaurant is a mini soft-play for younger Children, high chairs, baby changing facilities and baby bottle/food warming facilities.
