Stapehill Abbey was a place of quiet retreat and meditation for nearly 200 years, home to a silent order of nuns.
Today ther nuns chapel is fully restored and the visitor can experience the peace and serenity of a stroll through the clousters.
Also in these early 19th Century buildings are exhibits of a Victorian parlour, kitchen and washroom depicting domestic life at that time. As well as the Abbey Stapehill includes award winning gardens, licensed coffee shop, resident crafts people, a home farm,a woodland walk, gift shop etc.
