This interesting exhibition has been shown on television on BBC's "Landmarks" and BBC 2's "Return to Tutankhamun" as well as "The Face Of Tutankhamun".
All the exhibits have been carefully crafted by meticulous reference to the originals photographic records and diagrams. Where practicable original type materials have been used to make the treasures shown in the exhibition as close as possible to the original in Egypt. The current exhibition follows the treasures of the Tutankhamun exhibition which was shown in London in 1972.
The reconstruction of the anti - chamber of the tomb has been made with care and accuracy. It is exactly as it was when Howard Carter entered it in 1922. The burial chamber has been recreated to show the moment the golden coffins were removed from the sarcophagus.
There is a full school service and specialist Egyptian shop including books.
