Weymouth Sea Life Park and Marine Sanctuary has a unique Turtle Sanctuary with a number of Green Sea Turtles from the Cayman Islands which were bred in captivity. The Sanctuary helps to raise awareness of the plight of wild sea turtles whose nest sites are being lost because of tourism.
Combining hands on learning with audio visual opportunities children can have hands on contact with live sea creatures in the touch pool and a personal encounter with a variety of sea creatures. Sea Life is well worth a visit.
