Locxated next to the Thames this is the best urban wildlife centre in Europe. When you enter you leave London and replace it with countryside tranquility. Tranquil scenes of greenery and pools inhabitated by rare and beautiful wildlife. This is one of the most important conservevation projects of the past century.

The observatory gives panoramic views of the centre. In the world wetlands you can meet some of the most endangered birds.

In the wild reserve it's possible to spot 100 species of amazing wildlife and a guide is in the hide onm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday 11 - 1pm.

The Berkley bat house is a designer home for bats. In the pond zone you can do pond dipping, there's an unhderwater camera and you can journey " down the plughole"!

In the Adventure area there's a zipwire and water vole tunnels and there is much more to see and enjoy not forgetting the BBc Rain Garden.

Delicious home made food is served in The Waters Edge Cafe.

Discover a great day out for everyone whatever the weather. Every day in every season there is something new to see from ducklings in the spring to rare bitterns and water rail in the winter.
