Libertys is named after Liberty, the American Bold Eagle. It is home to a large collection of birds of prey as well as many reptiles which can all be seen at close hand. There are various displays which take place throughout the day.
The New Forest has a long history with the art of falconary and many kings and queens have hunted in the New Forset. King William Rufus was killed there when hunting.
LIbertys also rescues wild injured birds of prey and funds medical treatment and rehabilitation before they are released back into the wild.
