Set in a peaceful location on the River Test (Which apparently offers the best trout fishing in the South of England) in Whitchurch this grade 2 listed Georgian working watermill produces silks and other textiles which are used in theatrical costumes, fashion and interiors.
You will also find video and audio commentary, Children's activities along with special events held throughout the year. There are skilled weavers during the week, and you can even have a go at a hand loom yourself. Learn all about the silk production process, including Victorian winding, warping and weaving.
For a snack or meal there are homemade light lunch, teas and coffees available. For a souvenir visit the gift shop.
