Kiplin Hall is constructed in mellow red brick and is remarkable in Jacobean architecture for its unusal height and four towers A "Gothic" Drawring room was added in 1820's and later it was converted into a Jacobean - style Library. Four families related by blood and manage - owned Kiplin between 1620 and 1968. You will be welcome into a charming Victorian home, furnished with an intersting mix of furniture, paintings, portraitsand family memorabilia which relates to Jeffery Talbot who died in 1916.
The other families were the Calverts, Crowes and Carpenters.
The Gardens include herbaceousbeds, rose garden, shrubberies and parkland and lake.
They are being restored to the style of Gertrude Jekyll.
The woodland paths are being cleared, dating and plotting the historic trees and discovering the Victorian Lily pond.

Re-opens Sunday 1 April 2012 at 2pm
Then open Sunday - Wednesday until October 31, 2pm - 5pm, plus Good Friday and Easter Saturday.
