Thorp Perrow Arboretum is near the historic town of Beadle. It is one of the finest collections of trees and shrubs in the country.
It was created by Colonel sir Leonard Ropner Bt. (1895 -1977) It is now owned and managed by his son.
The woodland Garden covers 85 acres of walks, ornamental lakes, nature and children's trails, a children's play area and licensed tearoom. There are flying displays at the Falcon's of Thorpe Perrow - the conservation and cap[tive breeding centre. There is plenty of hands on experience for all the family.
Demonstration of eagles, falcons, hawks, vultures and owls take place 3 times a day.
The new mamal centre includes Meerkat island, and wallaby wood. A guided walk and tour takes place daily.
Education packages, and a range of course why the Northern school of Falconry and Associated studies are available throughout the year.

Flying Displays at 11.30am, 1.30pm & 3.30pm.
Animal Guided Tour at 12.15pm.
