The ancient Chalice Well, which has never failed to flow is considered by many to be a symbol of life, and by some as a gateway to the spirit world.
Amoungst the oldest of Holy wells in Britain, the Chalice well has been used for over 2000 years, thought to be visited by prehistoric tribes.
Walk up the cobbled path to the gardens which feature 'flow forms', fish pools, large yew trees, king arthurs court yard, the 'pilgrims bath' all leading to the well itself. Keep your eye uot for vesica piscis symbols along the way, a sacred geometrical symbol.
You will find a shop selling books, jewellery and remedies.
