This is East Devon's secret Garden! Ten acres of beautifuly landscaped gardens with views of the surrounding countryside setting of perfectly the lawns, lush borders and shrubs and trees some of which are unusual.
"The Woodland Garden" was created in an ancient Roman clay pit and features wild flowers and moisture loving plants such as candelabraprimulas around the ponds.
The "Courtyard Garden" features later summer flowering perennials. The Pergola walk and the millennium "Rill Garden" have colour co-ordinated shrubs and herbaceous plants. The Gardens are a haven for plantsmen and those who want pure relaxtion.
The Coffee Shop provides morning coffee, light refreshments and home made cream teas.
The shop features country and garden related gifts and local crafts. There is ample parking and a picnic area.
