This grade 2 listed building dating from 16th century, houses many original architectural features.
The parlour is Georgian, the kitchen Victorian, with a working "Beetonette" range.
The interesting building also includes the Priest's House Museum, with displays covering the rich local history of East Dorset. You can experience a Victorian village school room, walk back through a village street and research your village using touch screen computers. Guided tours available throughout the year give you fascinating stories of former inhabitants.
This is the smallest museum to have won The National Full Sandford Award for its educational service. The museum offers hands on experience supporting The National Curriculum on Victorian Britian, the Romans and World War 2.
There is a lovely walled garden of a third of an acre behind The Priest House where there is something of interest all year round.
There is also a tea room which can be hired.
